Steady as she goes

In the days when we were still at work decorating the house for Christmas was a one day mad dash. Nowadays we tend to do a bit at a time. Not least since keeping up with the neighbours means we put the outside lights up at the beginning of December, long before I’m ready to go full on Christmas inside.
Numbers are somewhat depleted this year so it won’t be a major production anyway, but this afternoon progress has been made and these always look nice on the kitchen table.

And tonight we watch the final episode of Wolf Hall and catch the last episode of The Day of the Jackal.
