Carols at Felbrigg
I decided to go over to Felbrigg this afternoon to listen to the Cromer & Sheringham Brass Band playing carols, tipped off to the event by JohnRH. The website warned you to get there early, so I arrived one hour 40 mins before the concert, and nearly all the car park places had already gone. I had a wander round the walled gardens, the Hall, the bookshop and the shop, then I grabbed a chair and took it in to the courtyard for the concert 30 mins later. It then got busier and busier, kids near me were coughing, and I was getting jostled. I lasted 20 mins of the concert itself before I decided to leave, the playing was lovely but the atmosphere less so. At home I edited my photos with the curtains closed and xmas tree lights on, then as I walked past the kitchen there was a really bright red light coming through the back door. I was concerned there was a fire somewhere close by it was so vivid, but it was a really stunning sunset, so I grabbed my camera and got the photo in Extras.
P.S. Wasn’t the Strictly final amazing, the best ever! And such a worthy winner in Chris (even though Tasha was technically the best dancer).
