Christmas Tree Festival

These are just two of the thirty plus trees on display at the Christmas Tree Festival in Salen church. It was wonderful to see so much imagination and creativity on display. I spent a couple of enjoyable hours in the morning greeting folk at the door and serving coffees while listening to live music provided by a couple of choirs and our talented church organist and her friend doing a medley of fun festive duets on the keyboard.
The afternoon soon disappeared with some Christmas preparation and a walk with Bertie. The short hours of daylight seem to make the days pass even more quickly.
