Quiet day

Early walk and then started to Christmas decorate the cottage.
Hubby popped down to kitchen to get batteries and after ten minutes I followed to find him laying on the corner unit, not looking very comfy. He said he felt dreadful. Spent an hour on the settee under a blanket and then back to bed. He has drank plenty of water but nothing else. Daughter also poorly with same symptoms. We think it’s a bug from nursery as grandson was not well on Friday.
So my day has been very quiet. Small tree up, plus a few lights in the kitchen, walk with Hetty and some photo editing.
Had a lovely surprise when I received an email from someone I worked with over 40 years ago, and not seen since. We exchange Christmas cards and this year I put in my email address and said I would love to hear from her, and today I did.
Walked included the gardens and ducks came running plus the living fence has been decorated.
