Homage to Catalonia

A lazy blip, the only photo I took today, but my excuse is that we’ve been travelling all day and are now in the UK, at S’s mum’s — though obviously she is not here because she’s in the care home.

Anyway, now that S’s sister R lives locally, she had thoughtfully been over earlier, switched on the heating, laid the table, and provided a delicious middle-eastern spiced soup featuring lentils and spinach for us to heat up, plus some fresh bread. Much appreciated when we got here at 7 pm UK time, cold and tired after a day of plane, train, and taxi.

I decided on a Catalan theme for my calendar, which I felt was not very inspired, but it’s turned out quite well. The cover photo features two blippers, and has in fact already been blipped.

Now flopped on the sofa, and we won’t be late to bed.
