All done

Finished putting up all the decs today, both inside and outside. You needed a degree to sort out the sockets / adaptor / extension leads due to the awkward shaped plugs on some of the decs!
I received a letter from the hospital last month to say I would be getting a telephone call (follow-up) appointment from cardiology at 10:30am today.
I wasn't sure if they would call me on my mobile phone or on our landline so I stayed in and by the telephone. I haven't received any call. Neither did I receive anything eg text message or email to explain why. I know they are busy but my time is every bit as precious as anyone else's and I've waited a good while for this follow-up that never was.
I have emailed the cardiology secretaries as I am wondering if the appointment has been rearranged and I have not received the letter stating that. The postal service here is abysmal on a good day.
I would have liked to have had a walk today but daren't go out in case I missed the call so apart from finishing the decs with Terry, much of the day has been wasted.
I love the Christmas decs when they go up but by the time New Years Day has gone I will be itching to take them all down.
