Soul Food

Junior was playing ice hockey hereabouts this morning, so I invited him for some home cooking afterwards instead of taking him out for lunch. 

Restaurants have a tough time around now, so why add to it. They will still be there (hopefully) in January. 

I made pasta bake because I know he loves it, and I suppose it is a good way to refuel after his high octane morning. He had two massive platefuls, as usual. When I saw much was leftover even after that, I wished I had invited the whole team. 

It got Blipped just before it went into the oven for that last 30 minutes. 

While he was powering his way up and down Fife Ice Arena I went over to Falkland for some fresh food. I got my timing right - less Sunday driver hazards than usual. I suppose they were all sitting in traffic queues waiting for parking spaces at supermarkets and shopping centres.
