Phoenix Rising

Verity my middle granddaughter is in her foundation year at NSCD ( Northern School of Contemporary Dance) but in addition to the full time course she auditioned and gained a place at Phoenix Youth Academy which means extra dancing two evenings a week.

Tonight we could go and see the PYA showcase, and while l thought the whole evening was impressive, Verity’s dancing actually brought tears to my eyes it was so moving.
Lovely to see her afterwards and congratulate her.
She did me a favour and let me get a quick photograph along with her mum and Kitty. Ruby missed the performance, she’s in Gran Canaria until Tuesday.
