Gift wrapping

At Nambour Plaza. My first time!

Nambour Plaza asked Rose (our Community Officer) if The Salvation Army could assist with gift wrapping this year. We could keep all the donations for our community work.

I love gift wrapping so signed up straight away. And today was my first stint at it! The other person I was rostered with sadly didn’t she up as she got her timings wrong, but I did manage pretty well by myself. And thoroughly enjoyed it. And was really overwhelmed by the kind, generous donations people gave. People who weren’t even getting presents wrapped. One gentleman came by and dropped off two boxes of celebrations for the volunteers who were gift wrapping. So kind.

I have one more stint next week, can’t wait.

Oh and I designed that pull up banner last year! Nice to see it being used.
