Masala Dosa Lunch

I know cruising is not everyone’s cup of tea - many of you describe it as your ‘worst nightmare’.  But right now, this works for us. We have our lovely balcony ‘suite’  - as all cabins are referred to - a chance to unpack all our clothes and medical stuff and just relax. I’ve loved the first week and I’m absolutely thrilled I’ve been able to do it, but I think I’ve reached my limits for now! 

Food and drink are unlimited - which could be a problem -  and our butler (suite attendant) is the delightful Glen from the Philippines. 

Today is a sea day, and time to get the washing done that’s accumulated during the week. Yes, Glen does offer to take our laundry away, but I don’t even want to look at the prices, so it’s a case of using the launderette on our corridor. The mundanities of life!  

No photos taken today, so I’m posting a photo taken yesterday when we stopped for lunch. In the foreground is my masala dosa - a large thin crispy pancake filled with spicy potato and served with chutney and sauce - with our driver eating his (while he’s on the phone) and G posing in the background!
