Late Spring

Spring was late in Ayr 2013. There were weeks of cold winds and the blossom hid away until they could hide no more. A few days sunshine and the trees burst into bloom. Park Circus has a wonderful display of cherry blossom trees.

This is my first Spring in my new flat and looking forward to seeing what the garden has hiding. The blossom lasted only a few days and was battered by heavy rain. It seemed sad but we didn't know a good summer was coming.
