Monday 16th December 2024...

My bestie and I celebrated Christmas together today...

First off I had to be at the Hospital for a 8:45am appointment to have a CT scan with contrast of my Chest, Abdominal and Pelvic all for the follow-up from my Renal Cell Carcinoma... They struggled to cannulate me so took a long time... Took 3 staff 4 goes to get it in but even that one took some coaxing to do the right thing...
We then had coffee at a little French Patisserie place...
Headed to the Mt Coot-tha Summit for a view of Brisbane CBD about to be engulfed by rain...
Then onto the Japanese Garden at Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens...
Lunch at our favourite Italian restaurant Marinara Trattoria...Wilson's Point for a view of the Brisbane River and the Story Bridge...
Gelato, bottle shop and eventually home...
