Cat Jade sees beady eyes - leaps & catches her prey - later just Badger Willow comes foraging - last clip is Jade waiting for her breakfast, she can hear me getting up and...has left the dead rat at my kitchen door. She never eats them. And I feed her well.

A bit chilly today...

Got back home midday to a paving firm, with all their massive vehicles completely taking up all available space on the road so that they could do a neighbours paving in the back garden and I had one heck of a job getting to, as well as into my driveway. I always reverse in so I come out forwards, but not a hope of doing that when I got back at midday. There was barely room to get in forwards. I need to get out very early in the morning in the dark and I need my car forward facing before it gets dark tonight. I need to check the windscreen wash as well.

I wasn't impressed with the workmen, they were unable to push a wheelbarrow half full of soil up the short plank into the trailer. Boss man had to help each person to get the wheelbarrow up. Either it's their first job or they are a flyby night firm..... their vehicles look all new with new painting and brand new logos..... as you can tell, I don't trust any of them....

Right, I need a hot cuppa tea from my flask.
A short nap... then lock up, feed the beasties, and then go out and see if they are still there or if they are gone for the day, and then I can finish off my odds and ends of bits on the car and clean the windscreen et cetera....
