Back to Skipton!
A final singing session this morning before our concert on Saturday after which we will not be attending ATN again until January.
Instead of heading over to Guiseley for our usual shop we went back to Skipton as we needed to revisit the cheese van. The Wensleydale went down well with the family when they visited the weekend before last. We need more to take down with us when we take the remainder of the cake on Boxing Day. No doubt there will be a coming together of our counties as John will probably buy local Bath Soft and Wyfe of Bath cheeses.
The cheese guys were wearing Santa hats today but I decided not to blip them again. I was tempted to try Rhubarb and Vanilla Wensleydale, maybe next time. Chris got some Stilton.
We had a coffee and then went on to M & S. It was very busy but I expect everywhere will be from now till Christmas.
We crossed the canal with a view over the Canal Basin on our way into town (passing Bizzie Lizzie's fish and chip shop which smelled wonderful) and took the back streets to return to the car meeting this jolly sheep on our way. It’s hat was completely over it’s eyes so I lifted the hat a little so it could see out of at least one eye!
We’d parked at Tesco so we could get more gf Christmas tree biscuits but no luck. Note to self, buy more when they have them next time!
No church choir practice this evening as our Carol Service is over so …relax!
