Portrait Gallery

A very tough but good pilates class, started the day with a flourish. We then popped to The Portrait Gallery which was looking it's very festive best.
We were pleased to see the newly commissioned portrait of Lorraine Kelly. This was painted by the winner of Portrait Artist of the Year, which is my favourite TV programme.  The portrait was how I expected it to be as Brogan Bertie (the artist) has painted in this style throughout the programme, and the judges wanted an artist with an individual/characterful approach to their work.
Later we walked through the town, and did some gardening when we got back.
I have also managed to get some sorting out and house tidying.
