Bird of the season

Well, it was only a matter of time before I blipped a Robin this month. 
We had a couple of hours to spare whilst over on the Wirral this morning, so popped into Burton Mere for a wander. We've not been there for quite some time. However, it wasn't very productive in terms of photography as it was very dark and the birds, as is quite normal for BMW, were quite distant. 
We did see a couple of Marsh Harriers, hundreds of Black Tailed Godwits and a few other species, so it wasn't a wasted visit.
