Grazing Horse

There was a little sunshine early this morning - and I managed to capture some on this horse as it was grazing around the paddock


A few moments before this shot it was facing the other way and showing off its wonderful plaited mane - you can only see the ends behind its neck!!


Also photographed a little bunch of catkins (hazel, I think) - creating a dark background with a small aperture (f/11) with fast shutter speed(1/250) and using the flash to light the subject, see extra.
