Caught in a trap.....

Who knew Pandas liked cheese?  A bit of an EB as I’ve been busy with other things all day.

I mentioned our fridge/freezer packing in the other day.  We established from the engineer that the compressor had given up the ghost.  While the fridge itself is out of warranty the compressor has a 20 year guarantee so should be replaced under that.  However, I got told the date of the repair today; 7th January! After a bit of an argument (via ‘Online Chat’, of course; you can’t get to speak to anyone nowadays) I managed to get them to bring it forward to 30th December but it still means it will be out of action over Christmas.

Fortunately, we have our old one in the garage which works perfectly.  However, it’s a real nuisance having to traipse down to the bottom of the garden every time you want a drop of milk so we’ve bitten the bullet and ordered a small fridge to go in the kitchen, which will be delivered on Thursday.  And once the other one is fixed, that can become my new beer fridge!
