Pigeons in a .... tree!

The weather today has been absolutely miserable ..... so dull, dreary and not at all festive.

I had to pop some presents into L's flat this morning and as she lives near Maxwell Park I paid the shortest of visits to the pond.
The pigeons are always there doing one of three things .....
Gobbling up seeds scattered by regular visitors
Flying a couple of circuits round the pond
Alighting on a nearby tree while they wait for more seeds to appear.

Some parcels wrapped and others sorted out ready for wrapping tomorrow.
