Wildfire

Small grass fire near Georgetown, Texas. We've been very, very fortunate to have as few starts as we've had so far given the heat, low humidity and long-term Exceptional Drought. Fortunately - though it feels much hotter because of it - winds have been quite light. The fuels (that natural material which burns - grass, brush, and trees) are at historically low moisture levels. The cedar trees in Central Texas (properly Juniper trees) have oils that make them burn explosively and are particularly hazardous.
