Honestly

The plant Honesty is self-seeding abundantly in our garden. I picked some stems after they'd seeded but only today have worked on an idea for still life.

I stripped a major stem and put the twiglets with seeds into a vase and dropped some small lights in. Then I poured the water on the top. Of course, everything floated upwards. I suppose you could say it's a gesture towards Christmas lights.

Basil had his injections and annual check up today. Passed with flying colours. We celebrated with coffee and muffins at Muffin Break.

And I've posted all my Christmas cards. Now that is a REAL achievement because if you know me, I can sometimes be found writing my Christmas cards after Christmas Day. I held up the heavy queue in the Post Office because three of my envelopes were for overseas. Thanks to Brexit, the post master had to write out a customs declaration for each of them.
