Reel to Reel

I had to do some "mining" in the eaves storage space. This is hard work not least becuase it is all on hands and knees and secondly because the plastic boxes (anti rat arrangements) are extremely heavy to move around. Increasingly I have to come to terms with my limitations. But...... . Mainly the boxes are full of photographs from- WW2 and before. So special and a project in themselves. There are also (why is everything so heavy?) at least 4 reel to reel cine tapes dating I think from about 1960. I would like to Translate" them into digital format so that we could see and keep them. I have no idea how to do this. I wonder if Jock IT, who I think still has one of my laptops might have an idea. Worth a phone call I guess.
