One day at a time

A wonky Norman arch in Carlisle Cathedral.
Yes, another day another church. The primary reason for visiting Carlisle was for my daughter (31) to visit a public school who have agreed to allow her to sit a GCSE in French with them. We cannot find any school on Northumberland who will do this and the County Council has given up providing Night School courses (except a very few specific ones) for adults.
After this we went to the cathedral and had a very pleasant wander around the city together. My delight to buy her lunch and an outrageous hot chocolate with every extra you could imagine: ~1000 calories I should think. She appears in the photo looking mysterious.
