Olive at the TPG Christmas party

The Tynedale Photo Group has its annual Christmas bash tonight. Here is Olive before the party. She was not the only one in Christmas garb. I wore a red dress, red shoes and red tights!

We share the food preparation. I had the potato salad this year. The recommended recipe contained spring onions and capers. I'm not keen on either, so I made a second bowlful with red apples (skins left on) and chives. It was almost all eaten so I hope that means it was OK.

After the meal, the entertainment was provided by the Hexham Bluegrass Group. One of our photographers plays with them. They were good fun and sang just long enough.

I had lunch in the village hall today but left before the carol singing. I went to visit Margret, who is beginning to improve from the 'flu. Her chest is painful from coughing.

Olive was a slightly reluctant poser, but I like the result. I hope she does too.
