Santa’s hung up his hat…
I spotted this today and it really brightened up a higher fibromyalgia pain and fatigue day.
Santa’s had enough! He’s hung up his hat and handed in his resignation :P
I only got about three hours sleep last night, not unusual for me.
I have managed to have a fairly productive day. I tried to get through to my GP surgery this morning about my fibromyalgia management/review but the phone lines have been jammed all day.
There was a message that said that the surgery had reached peak capacity. It isn’t the first time it’s happened. I had a missed call from them but the same recorded message played when I tried to return their call. Tomorrow it is then…
I have high blood pressure. I was told this via phone last Thursday lunchtime as I was preparing to go get my overdue flu and Covid booster vaccines.
They knew for nearly a fortnight but didn’t tell me…I am going to reduce it naturally. I don’t smoke or drink, take paced exercise and do not want to take medication for it so going to aim to minimise stress as much as possible and reduce salt in my diet - crisp addict!
I have felt double rubbish since I had those but I think it’s worth it in the long run given my chronic asthma and the flare ups I have had.
Too many bugs around! I feel for the staff working in our overburdened NHS and feel very grateful that we still have it.
I managed to have a fairly productive day despite my chronic pain and fatigue levels being so elevated.
I got a few things ticked off my to do list and got 6,000 plus steps done in the rain for my paced walking fundraiser in aid of Alcohol Change UK.
Today’s steps are in the extras along with the blood pressure monitor I picked up today to do my own readings until I can speak to my GP.
Here is the link to donate if you would like to support me in my birthday month challenge and help Alcohol Change UK reduce alcohol harm in the UK:

I didn’t Blip yesterday due to pain and fatigue but I managed around 4,000 steps (in extras).
Thanks for all your encouragement and donations thus far, very grateful.
Need a major Blip catch up tomorrow!
