Christmas party

It was a very mild, but miserable dark and wet day, so a great day to go to an early afternoon Church Christmas party at P and K’s house which is always so bountifully and beautifully decorated for Christmas. K really goes to town on her decorations and has them everywhere. I’ve blipped their Christmas decorations before. K doesn’t come to church, but P is very active and involved. Most of the guests were members of either the Sunday morning Bible study class or the Thursday Morning group, both of which P attends when he is able, and often helps lead. Everyone contributed something for the table. P is always very relaxed and informal about it, so the food is a bit random - quite a lot of cheese today, and not so much on the dessert side as there often is! However, one thing is for sure - we don’t go hungry! We finish up with singing Christmas carols, with yours truly playing their old and somewhat out of tune piano. Neither of them play so I’m not sure how often it gets tuned! Unfortunately I didn’t get round to taking photos until people were leaving so I didn’t get to take any pictures of the people.
