Sunday

A good hike around the soggy surroundings before a hearty bacon sandwich and chai tea for sustenance.
A tidy up before heading out to National Trust property Arlington Court for a wander through the reopened grounds, and possibly the house where “Dippies” aren’t allowed in.
The church was my first port of call, always peaceful and often un-elaborately but tastefully decorated.
After praying for peace and harmony for the world we squelched around the beautiful woodlands before finding the comfort and shelter of the café for a warm drink and some crusty bread butter.
Returning to the car so Dippy could have a rest and I could have a quick dash around the house, I was told that I was the only person left and that I could go in if I was quick.
Christmas trees were all over the house and it did briefly make me wonder how much everything cost to set up, however the National Trust relies greatly on volunteers to help support its cause.
Back for a personal take on paella and relaxing in front of the multi fuel stove.
Zzzzzz
