Spent most of the day on a train.

The journey started off very well. We had seats which was much better than the outward journey to Edinburgh when we had to stand up the whole time.

Unfortunately the whole coach wss entertained by group of eight who got on at Newcastle. They decided to share their football anecdotes by shouting at each other in ever increasing volume throughout the whole journey. This made the £15 offer to upgrade to first class very tempting.
