Simply Flax….

This patch of flax is growing on the stopbank that is adjacent to Doctors Creek. The world was washed fresh and clean overnight by heavy rain accompanied by noisy thunderstorms. There was 20mm of rain in the rain gauge this morning. Phew! The first rainfall for this month and very welcome. A much cooler day too. Except a strong south-easterly wind blew up later in the day…. Just a bit too brisk for my liking.
