I've always been drawn to artists who are outsiders, artists who have an unconventional, one might say "weird" or "off the wall" perspective. Artists who have later been found to have Aspergers. "Cool" artists, fashionable artists bore me somewhat. Tim Burton and the characters he creates or dramatises are one example of this; Pee Wee, Batman, Franknweenie, Wednesday Addams, Beetlejuice, Vincent, Edward Scissorhands and, of course, the wonderful Jack Skellington.

I think what Boris Yeltsin is describing in today's quote is the danger of what today we would call groupthink. There is certainly a lot of that about these days. Thank goodness for YouTube channels like Caspersight and Third Phase Of Moon, and open minded investigative reporters like Ross Coulthart. They will find out what the "drone" situation is all about and they will reveal it no matter how "weird" it is. As Philip K. Dick once said, "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." Now Third Phase Of Moon have just posted an incredible new video with some big news and a promise that, following some freshly received information, tomorrow's update will blow our minds. It probably won't blow my mind because what's in my mind is undoubtedly way weirder than anything they will reveal, but who knows, right?   :-D
