A real gentleman. Was happy to let me photograph him. So friendly. I told him his son coached me in tennis and had infinite patience. ‘Ah yes’. Mr. Vance said. ‘He’s gone to the golf now’. We both sighed.

Another day of gentle shopping. When I got home, the postman had delivered the Mermaid Arts Centre brochure for Jan-Mar 2025. And lo and behold what do I see. My favourite singer is coming to Bray….
