Nearly there

Putting the ornaments on the tree is always a joy as so many of them have been received from friends or bought on our travels. Lots of memories held by them. These are some of my favourites.
Today Mr EAnn is travelling to London to spend a couple of days with his brother who has been there for weeks supporting our sister in law following her surgery. It looks like she might be going back to NI in the next few days but it would have been all but impossible to get to see him sooner.
He’s having a nightmare journey with cancelled trains but will hopefully be there late afternoon. I can’t say I’m enjoying being on my own again so soon but definitely the right thing to do to encourage him to go.
