Winter Sun
Little Man has nursery this morning, but quite surpringly he was awake before I was. Normally, on nursery days, I'm up first and can get the fire going, make a cup of coffee and have a quick smoke before I get the sweet boy up. It was fun to have my routine changed. We biked there, and then I came home. I had a quiet morning. The lady who owns the cargo bike bukfiet came to get it before I picked Little Man up.
We biked to Reeuwijk for another appointment with the children's doctor to talk about recent events, mainly Little Man's latest seizure (more on that here) and the results of the audiology appointment last week (more on that here). We talked about how best to go forwards from here, to ensure that we can help get Little Man ready to start primary school next year.
The journey in both directions was dry, thankfully, but challenging, due to a very wiggly boy. Little Man loves going on bike rides, but finds it annoying that he has to sit behind me, as it means he can't see everything he wants to. This leads to much shifting about and thus makes biking in a straight line rather challenging. He has gotten a lot better since we started biking around more.
Caleb came by after dinner, which was lovely. He hadn't been feeling well, and hasn't come by recently due to work, fixing his cars, and not feeling completely well. He's hoping to come by again this week.
