Memories

I got this lovely little cloth ornament for my tree back in 1997 when I was in London for a long weekend.  Every year when it goes on my tree, I smile and remember a very fun trip with bestie, Ellen.  As much as I love seeing perfectly decorated, color themed trees, I treasure my "memory" tree with its crazy assortment of ornaments.

It rained overnight so the snow we had yesterday is completely gone today and temps are in the 50's.  Very pleasant.  Hubs and I took the brindle dog for a walk which we all enjoyed.  Jax sniffed everywhere and peed on everything.  By the end of our walk, although he was lifting his leg, I don't think anything was actually coming out.  Silly dog.  

We were planning to go into NYC on Christmas Eve and have lunch with Kura but I was not able to change Jax's day care reservation for next week (he goes every Thursday), so we are going to go in the day after Christmas.  Which will still be lots of fun and give us a chance to get a glimpse of the holiday lights and decorations.  

I've been in touch with the VP of Horse Events for the county fairgrounds and she has invited me to come to any of their events next year to take photos.  I'm thrilled as I think equine events could be very fun for me.  So, I've put about 8 dates on my calendar for horse events next year and about the same for dog events.  Very fun!
