Favourite mugs
Tuesday night is church and organist admin night and tonight is a busy one, as I've done the newsletters for the next two Sundays, and have finalised (in my mind, at least,) the hymns until Candlemas. I can't do this lot of choosing until after the carol service, as I don't have any input into the choices for the carol service, (That and Good Friday are the two services a year I get no say) and I like to ensure we're not singing the same few carols at the three main services where they are sung,
My absolute favourite moment of today, alas, wasn't able to be photographed. It was the intense Jenga game with my loveliest group of students. One of my severely visually impaired students had asked if we could have a game sometime and two of his peers were also keen to play. (The rest wanted to play Uno - which caused this student some angst as he's very good at it - we have a pack of Uno cards with Braille on them.)
I'm not sure who was concentrating harder, my VI student as he was carefully working out which brick to move, or the silence of the others, Jenga and Uno players, as they watched in awe.
