The Wrong Item
I received a parcel from Amazon today, which should have contained some photographic items. Imagine my disappointment to find this bag of brown rice in the box instead.
A call to customer services and 15 minutes later they were satisfied with my complaint and a refund was arranged. I can’t help but think that this was a theft at the warehouse where it was packed. The weight of the rice was similar to the correct contents and was well wrapped in the brown paper used to pad out the boxes. Of course nothing was said by the representative. I imagine they will know who packed the parcel.
I’d heard this sort of thing happening before and at least I got a satisfactory response. Previous reports had stated that Amazon were not as forthcoming with refunds in some cases.
