Dribs and Drabs of 2014

Gorgeous day for a hike!!

The WTN/AJ and I decided to take the canine fur children on a hike in lower Sackville, NS. The trail is visible from the highway and always was intriguing as several bridges cross back and forth over the Sackville River.

We didn't realize until we started on the path that we had to walk under overpasses of the two major highways (101 & 102) that meet near this trail. Surprisingly, the WTN/AJ was not keen on this and didn't feel like standing around and looking at the artwork/graffiti as cars zoomed overhead. The first overpass was typical, boring "tags", but the second was completely painted by a youth group to look like a beach scene. More surprising, and refreshing, was the fact that this art piece has not been "tagged" in the three years since its inception.
