Feeding time at the zoo…..

Another damp day with rain and drizzle on and off.
This 28 ton load of cow rolls eventually turned up at lunch time today. It was booked for last Thursday, then meant to come yesterday, but didn’t, so we were down to the last few bags this morning. Still better late than never, and the invoice arrived a couple of hours after the lorry left.
Had the first calf to treat for pneumonia last night, so fingers crossed it doesn’t kick off big style over Christmas, but if every other year is anything to go by it probably will.
