A day in the life

By Shelling

Full day

Beautiful weather today, the wind died during the night but will be back later in the week. I had a walk and cleared the garden from debris caused by the wind.

During the walk I met my landlords sons girlfriends horses, one fullgrown one and this little Shetland pony, name unknown to me. Some years ago a new law was installed, saying that it's no longer legal to only have one horse in an enclosure, the horse must have a companion, since they are flock-animals. Most people who own horses, and who don't have heaps of money, solved the problem by buying a pony as a company for the big one, or vice versa.

I've tried a long time to catch all the little calves running around in the field and today I managed to get nine of the fourteen in one shot. (Extra) On a mild day like today it's great fun watching them running full speed across the field with their tails straight up in the air.

Yet another of my recording projects is running towards a close. This evening Halima, from Iran, a friend who has so far recorded five songs in my small studio. This evening we caught her voice, now it's up to me to make it sound as good as possible along with the music. (second extra)
