A better day

Blood pressure issue seems to be straightened out. Mom is under the umbrella care of  the trauma dept.  The orthopedic dr. came this morning and on their on she is good. Physio came today to evaluate her ( this will determine the type of rehab center she will go to). Yesterday they got her from bed to a chair, not much else because of the BP drop earlier in the day. Today they repeated that and than out of the chair using the walker and she got across the room and back. They said she did very well for a first time. Later in the day we got the call that she was accepted to St. Charles Rehab. This is where we were hoping she would go. The physio is more intense than the usual rehab centers. It is 3 hours a day as opposed to 1, but she should be done in about a week’s time. It is also fairly close to us.  I expect before the end of the week she will be discharged and sent to rehab.
