Park Road Flamingoes

As I neared the rail station at New Lynn this morning I could hear thr train coming into the station. Moved quickly including going down the escalator. I reached the platform to see that everyone had already boarded, so I slowed to a walk. Only to start running again as the guard was holding the doors open for me. A nice way to start the day.

To the right of these flamingoes are steps up from the street level to the hospital main block entry level. From there I go down the road going past where I work and leading out of the hospital grounds into Pukekawa (Auckland Domain). I have not noticed either the stencilled images of two flamingoes or the bus timetable for the DHB staff shuttle from the Auckland City Hospital to the Greenlane Clinical Centre (and back). I don't (currently) need the staff shuttle, although I once used to use it. I don't use an electric scooter, being certain I would promptly fall off. The flamingoes could not be passed by as my blip
