Went up to the eye hospital this morning to have my post-op check. All is well though I was waiting for an hour to be seen by the clinician. Apparently they had had had a complicated case before me so the delay was perfectly understandable but i think they should have updated me. I spoke to the receptionist after 20 minutes who said i was next to go in snd it shouldn’t be long. After another 20 minutes I was told 5 minutes and finally went in 12 minutes later.
Went into town afterwards but didn’t get everything I wanted. Bought stamps when i got back to WB and posted my cards. Also bought Christmas earrings snd sparkly tights in lieu of a Christmas jumper for the Bridge party, snd some nice food and drink for my nephew and his partner. Lots of lights around the trees in the Avenue. Quite effective!
Had a very late lunch snd checked over all my food and drink purchases and made a list of what I have still to get
