f/4 Roadtrip 2024 Day 6 - Buttermere

This morning we had our grande finale at lake Buttermere. Unfortunately there was no light on the famous trees and we didn't have the time to wait for it. There's an airplane waiting for us in Newcastle.

So, instead of focussing on the trees, I turned 180 degrees and focussed on the clouds passing by. We then wrapped things up and headed for the airport.
A smooth flight home was what followed.
I arrived home, after I dropped off Ron and Herman, just after midnight.
Toby was the only one awake and greeted me enthusiastically. So enthusiastic that he needed a short walk to calm down again.
By then I was so tired I fell asleep the moment I hit my sheets.

This has been a really great week in the UK. One to remember.
