Second new decoration

A truly dire morning! It may be warm but strong winds and horizontal rain aren’t  much fun. My friend and I abandoned walking to our ATN choir singing gig this morning  and got a lift. We were singing at Hazelbeck Special school, part of Beckfoot in Bingley which is where I went to school myself though now completely rebuilt.
We sang in two sessions so the more vulnerable children didn’t have to be in too big a group . Very special as usual. We had our own Santa who led us all in singing Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer! 
As it was such a bad day and I wouldn’t be able to take photos at the school I’ve posted my second new tree decoration. It’s hand made and I bought it from a stall in the Jardim de Sao Francisco in the centre of Funchal, Madeira last month. Nice Madeiran colours and certainly more cheerful than the weather but perhaps not quite as joyous as those children seeing Santa Claus. Always a magical event.
