Beauty is all around us.

Hunter having a cat nap.

The Feast Day of Saint Winebald.
He was the son of 8th century Saint Richard the Saxon. His brother, Wilibald, was the first recorded Englishman to travel to the Holy Land.

Today has been a testing time with this damp, dark and inclement weather. 9c feels like 5c. When we got up at 8am it was still very dark and the rain and windy were having a Christmas party!! Still, it is cosy in our house.

So I enjoyed a relaxed breakfast of decaf and muesli with Oatly, before venturing out to the shop for the I newspaper and the second Christmas bumper edition of The People's Friend. The Gardening News also produced a special edition with three packets of free seeds, so later I went out to buy that, as my friend Lynn shares it after we have read it.

Hunter usually comes home at 3:30pm for his afternoon dental biscuits, but we are waiting to see his face at the door. I hope he is sheltering somewhere safe and dry.

Thankfully there are many good television shows that we like on from 6pm to 11pm so that's a great joy on such a Wintry day.

Thank you for visiting my blip site and enjoy a good evening, blip friends.
