Yes we still have CDs . . .

. . . . lots of them.

But not as many as did this morning.

We have finally completed the task that we have been meaning to do ever since we got the wonderful new system with a super CD Player many months ago.

We got all the CDs together, many were scattered around the house and the drawers of the unit were full. Then we went through each one, decided whether it was to be kept or discarded and then alphabetical piles were made (see extra). We have been collecting CDs for as long as there have been CDs so there were so many and quite an eclectic collection. We knew there were some we really were not going to listen to again. These will go to anyone who wants them.

Then we went through each pile and decided which were going into the drawers and which were going back upstairs - mainly those that we do not really play but we want to keep.

So, now the drawers are just about full, the CDs are in alphabetical order and I have now made dividers. Of course they won’t stay this organised but it is nice to start like this. And it has certainly reminded us of albums we had forgotten about.

Here are a few of the piles and the lovely piece of furniture that is a CD unit. (One of the reasons we still have CDs is - what on earth would we do with this unit that we like so much?)
