Lonely Santa/crowded pub

Two sides of Christmas I suppose - a lost (or maybe abandoned) Christmas hat at the bus station, which made me think of good friends who are helping at a meal for the homeless at Manna House on Christmas Day.  This evening we went to meet friends from our old choir, Lakeland Voice, and sang carols with them in a Kendal pub; then friends from the cycle club came along, so we had a drink with them; then we listened to a local Bluegrass group play, whilst in the same pub a group of young women sat to drink wine and make holly wreaths; makes for a varied evening and feeling of goodwill to all.
