Reaching Out

This morning I passed this tree by the River Meavy in West Devon. I have passed it many ties before and sometimes think of it as the impossible tree because the lower branches are so long and so heavy. The tree never looks strong enough to support their weight. A very wide tree for  the last Wide Wednesday of the year.
