No more adventures till 2025

Today my human got her rotas for the next couple of weeks. Apart from this Sunday and Christmas Day, she has no time off until January. That's fine, because she told 'the powers that be', that she could do whatever they wanted her to do, as long as a shift wasn't any longer than 5 hours because she doesn't like to leave me 'home alone' forever & also she's old, so being on her feet for 5 hours, plus walking me for a couple of hours a day is a killer!!! Mmmmmmm................... 3 or 4 of her shifts over the festive period are 5.5 hours. I don't mind. TBH, when I'm left 'home alone', I just snooze.  For a Collie, I really am very lazy?!

…..........It just means, that for the next couple of weeks, we won't have time to go off and have any adventures together.

I'll still get to go and play on the beach every day though. Sometimes I get to play on the beach twice a day. It just depends on how tired Ann is and what shifts she's working.

This morning I went for my normal trek along the beach and around the town and just look what I found....................... Not a manky old ball............. I found a brand new tennis ball. Yay! I played at rolling around on my back with it and then I carried it all the way home and lay on our sun terrace guarding it for half an hour. It's in my 'manky old balls' box now.

…..............Oh and do you know what the best thing about Ann doing so much work over the festive season is?........................... She hasn't got time to wash all my 'manky old balls', and she certainly hasn't got time to take them to the 'NAWT' before Christmas. That means that I'll be keeping them for a little while longer. Yay!!!
