Favourite Train Station.
Today the plan was to visit my Nephew in his Care Home, then to visit my friend Anne; but it wasn't to be.
My Nephew said I should give it a miss as he's lost his voice & all the Staff have chesty coughs. I hope to see him early in 2025.
Then Anne said she needed to cancel because she needed more time to ice her son's Wedding Cake before Friday. I'll see her Friday. :)
Instead I popped over to Battle as they usually have big displays around the Town, but not so today... there was a little display here & there.
I enjoyed every minute of the day.
Parked up I went to the closest Charity Shop to look around & that's what I did through the Town & then into St. Mary's Church for a look around & what an amazingly big Church it is with Christmas Tree's & knitted Nativity Scenes.
I then walked to my favourite Train Station, it's not in the middle of the Town, but on the outskirts; this is where I found the best display of Christmas as you can see part of here.
I walked back & looked around the other Charity Shops after admiring Battle Abbey.
I found a few little extra bits to add to my daughter's Christmas Gifts & when I got home I wrapped them ready, hope she likes them even though they came from Charity Shops.
